For our client, a global retail company, we are in search of an energetic IT Manager to take charge of our operations across two countries. The perfect fit for this role would act as a crucial link connecting business and IT, guaranteeing smooth coordination and oversight of projects. This position requires a forward-thinking leader adept at handling local vendor relationships and contracts, as well as leading key projects with a focused attention on both investment (CAPEX) and day-to-day operational costs (OPEX).
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison between business operations and IT functions.
- Direct and control CAPEX and OPEX to ensure financial efficiency.
- Lead project management for central initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Coordinate with local vendors, maintaining and renegotiating agreements as necessary.
- Oversee a team of coordinators and specialists, promoting a culture of excellence.
- Collaborate closely with the Central team to synchronize strategies and processes.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the IT domain.
Requirements:
- Extensive technical knowledge of IT systems, preferably with experience in the retail sector.
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently and responsibly.
- Proficiency in English and Polish and excellent communication skills.
- Strong results-oriented approach with a proven track record.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, capable of nurturing a team-oriented environment.
- Deep understanding of the retail business and its integration with IT.
- Proactive and forward-thinking with a passion for efficiency.
- Skills in data analysis and automation are highly desirable.
- Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
